Al Maktoum Medical Library invites the library and information science community to its inaugural library conference themed “Empower, Inform and Connect”. Libraries are re-examining and re-defining their role, developing and promoting new information services, establishing collaborations and networks, incorporating cutting edge technologies, all with the objective to meet the constantly changing needs of their patrons. This year the goal of the conference is to promote how libraries can translate ideas into innovative services. Delegates will have a  unique opportunity to connect, explore and discuss their ideas for change.
