To accomplish our vision, we’ve made sure your qualification at MBRU is fully recognized through the accreditation of the Ministry of Education (MOE).
Accrediation
Ministry of Education
Through its Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), the Ministry has accredited all MBRU graduate and undergraduate degree programs.
MBRU, located in the Emirate of Dubai, is officially licensed by the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates to award degrees and qualifications in higher education.

Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
MBRU is accredited by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as a CPD Provider.
As a part of SCFHS's mission to protect and promote health led by health practitioners who serve the community humanely and efficiently to achieve the vision "efficiently healthy society", SCFHS has sought to apply the comprehensive concept of continuous professional development as a key part of professional practice and to establish the role of providers of continuous professional development as responsible for adapting activities and programs to the needs of the health practitioner and health care needs by identifying educational and training needs, and continuing to spread the culture of continuous professional development diverse sources using multiple learning methods and support for self-learning approaches.
Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Accreditation.
The Simulation Center is the only center in the UAE which is fully accredited by Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH).
SSH is the world’s largest organization dedicated to medical simulation. The nonprofit’s mission is to advance the application and promote the art, science and practice of healthcare simulation through global engagement. SSH seeks to reduce errors in patient care and improve clinical performance through the use of simulation.
SSH Accreditation is a peer-reviewed, customized evaluation of your healthcare simulation program. This accreditation examines simulation program's processes and outcomes in assessment, research, teaching/education, and systems integration.
American College of Surgeons Accredited Education Institute
The simulation Center is accredited by American College of Surgeons Accredited Education Institute (ACS AEI) fellowship program.
Launched by the ACS Division of Education in 2005, the ACS-AEI Program sets standards for simulation-based surgical education and training. The goal is to promote patient safety by using simulation, to support the lifelong learning of surgeons, surgical trainees, and other healthcare professionals, to enhance access to contemporary surgical education, and to advance scholarship in simulation-based surgical education.
Being accredited means the simulation center can benefit from:
- Interacting with other multidisciplinary professionals worldwide on the AEI Community to seek support for the delivery of the education and training programs.
- Sharing best practices in the areas of curriculum design, assessment, faculty development, research, and technology with centers at the forefront of simulation-based surgical education and training.
- Jointly advancing scholarship and educational goals through multi-institutional research studies and collaborative projects.
American Heart Association (AHA)
The Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU – International Training Center), affiliated to American Heart Association (AHA) since 2008.
MBRU ITC recognized as the International Training Center in MENA region with highest number of regional faculty, training center faculty and instructor pool. Currently MBRU ITC has been providing training to thousands of healthcare professionals within Dubai Health.
The American Heart Association (AHA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. AHA is one of the largest and most influential cardiovascular health organizations in the world. Its mission is to promote cardiovascular health and reduce the impact of heart disease and stroke through research, education, advocacy, and community programs.
The AHA conducts groundbreaking research to better understand cardiovascular diseases, improve treatments, and develop prevention strategies. It provides science-based guidelines and recommendations for healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the general public to promote heart-healthy lifestyles and improve patient care.
QS STARS
Facilities: MBRU's ultra-modern campus caters to the needs of our medical students, and the larger community through an advanced simulation center, the largest in Dubai, the Al Maktoum Medical Library, and multidisciplinary labs.
Art & Culture: MBRU has the facilities for artistic and creative endeavours and organizes a variety of events regularly. The diversity at MBRU, complimented by the vibrant and dynamic culture of the UAE, creates a holistic and enriching learning environment for our students.
Internationalization: MBRU participates in numerous international research collaborations and attracts a high number of international staff and students from over 28 countries.
